GTA 6 status

Rockstar announced GTA 6 for current-gen consoles only. There is no PS4 or Xbox One version. GTA 5 is still played on PS4 and all its cheats work.

What to expect in GTA 6

There's no way to play GTA 6 without moving to PS5. Cheat input on PS5 is expected to use button sequences like GTA 5, but that isn't confirmed.

Tips

• You can carry your PS4 GTA 5 save to the PS5 version; cheats work the same there.
• Sites offering a 'GTA 6 PS4 download' are fake.
